What we collect through this website, and what we do with it.
What you send us
If you send us a Seasonal & Monthly Site Request, we receive what you enter: your name, phone number, email and mailing address, the size of your party and any pets, details of your camping unit, and anything you write to us. It comes to us by email, and we use it only to answer your request. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone else.
Reservations and the Guest Portal are handled by Firefly Reservations, and our pump out, firewood and suggestion forms by Google Forms. What you enter there goes to those services under their own privacy policies.
What our server records
Like every website, ours keeps logs of the pages visited, including your IP (Internet Protocol) address, your browser and the time of each visit. We use them to keep the site running and secure, and they aren’t used to identify you.
Visitor statistics
To learn which pages are useful, we count visits with Matomo, a statistics program that runs on our website host’s own server rather than Google’s. It sets no cookies, shortens your IP address before saving anything, and shares nothing with advertisers or anyone else.
Content from other services
A few parts of our pages come from other companies’ servers: the map on our Attractions & Travel page (Google Maps), the Facebook feed and the weather forecast (WillyWeather) at the foot of each page, and one of our fonts (Google Fonts). Those services receive your IP address when they load, and Google Maps and Facebook may set their own cookies.
Links to other websites
This website links to other sites, such as local attractions and our booking pages. Their content and privacy practices are beyond our control.
